Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Let's just all not think about the lack of an intelligible plot and originality, a typical-replica-of-the-first-movie sequel and some deja vus from Terminator Salvation.

Focus on the awesome special effects, good sense of humour, funny sexual innuendos, cool robots fighting scenes and hottie eye candy Megan Fox.

Just enjoy the frigging big budget sci-fi-action blockbuster people!

Well, we enjoyed it!

Goodbye Michael Jackson

The 'King of Pop' passed away on the morning of June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. He suffered from a cardiac arrest, fell into a coma and died shortly. Michael Jackson's instantly identifiable voice, vocal hiccups, eye-popping dance moves, anti-gravity lean, moonwalk, crotch-grabbing antics, extravagant costumes, stunning musical versatility and loads of sheer star power was truly iconic and legendary. He is one of the most popular person in the world and most influential artist of all time.

The moment I heard of his death on Mix.fm. I called my mom, dad, grandma, boyfriend, and cousins to tell them about the sad news. Every mainstream radio station was playing all of his songs as a tribute to him. It is not till his death, only we realized how he played a part in our lives. There is always that anti-gravity lean and moonwalk we tried to imitate, his vocals hiccups we laughed about and mocked, his songs that we sang over and over again, the 'Thriller' dance steps where we tried to learn, and so much more.

The later part of his life was a spiral downturn, but I will never forget his glory days. He is my idol and will always be.

Rest in Peace
Michael Joseph Jackson

Four Happy Seasons Restaurant

A restaurant located at Wangsa Maju's new industrial area. A two story corner lot with four sections, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor. Each section is decorated differently and it's according to the four seasons. Summer - with red leather chairs, fake coconut trees, beach view wallpaper and fancy red lights. Spring - green chairs and basically most things are green and floral. These two seasons are located downstairs, Summer is outdoor and Spring is indoor. Autumn and Winter is located upstairs and to go up you have to climb up this cool lighted spiral staircase. The Autumns section is mainly decorated with Autumn leaves and wooden tables and chairs. The combination of decoration, lighting and location creates an ambiance that is truly comfortable and somewhat romantic. Last but not least, the Winter section where everything is decorated in White, Blue and Silver. The temperature is kept below 15 degrees, so make sure you have a jacket on. Even though there were a lot of thinking behind decorating the Restaurant and a lot of effort was put into finding the right decor pieces and furniture to compliment each season, plenty of things can still be improved on.

The food and drinks presentation and taste was not bad and most things on the menu are fairly priced. But if you're looking for a cheap meal, this won't be the place to visit.

Chocolate with Mocha Jelly.

Ice Blended Vanilla with Passion Fruit. Must try!

Vietnamese Spicy, Sweet and Sour Soup. I personally think it tasted really weird.

Fried Udon.

Spaghetti Seafood Carbonara - Tasted rich and creamy while it was hot, but when it cooled down it tasted like Coleslaw.

Seasons Special Fried Rice. Absolutely delicious, but some of the prawns were not cooked thoroughly.

Crispy Prawn Noodle. A definite must try!

Of course, no matter how great the Restaurant or food, without good company, your dining experience might just be as dull. After a long meeting, all the Heads of Department from AAV2 and some of the Programme Coordinators from APR1 had dinner together to celebrate our progress. We were at the brink of tearing down the place, we were loud and crazy, snapping pictures everywhere, and most importantly we had lots of fun.

This is Chang Kah Hoe.

The Sponsorship Coordinator.

This is him with my shades.

I know what you're thinking. Take my word for it, you don't want to be in his place.

Hope we didn't give our Client too much of a culture shock!

Wallace at the 'beach'.

The Boys.

The Ladies.

P/S: The pictures look grainy because I was using my hand phone's 2.0 MegaPixel camera. I forgot to bring my Canon camera, my bad!

Love Story Meets Viva La Vida

Fabulous piece arranged by Jon Schmidt and Co-arranged by Steven Sharp Nelson. This arrangement is dedicated to Jon Schmidt's 7 year old daughter, Sara who loves Love Story by Taylor Swift.

I love the way he arranged two very different genre of music together and create this perfectly synchronized harmony. The transition from one tune to another gives an ultimate high feeling and you just can't help but feel inspired and moved by it.

Hope you enjoyed it and let me know what you think!

Me, Myself & Tammy

  • About Me
I am perky and can be real cranky at times. A perfectionist with many flaws. I am a hypocrite when it comes to certain things. I only do things I love to do. When it comes to things I am passionate about, I give it my 100%. I love those who love me. I appreciate those who have been kind to me. Without these people I would not be who I am today.
