What I like about this book is the way the story is told. Each chapter is told from a different character's perspective. You are able to step into each of the character's shoes, learn about their experiences, the decisions they've made and are about to make and understand the reasons behind their decisions. This novel emphasizes on how one person's decision can have a domino effect on other people's lives. It also keeps you pondering on how does one define what's right or wrong and if you were in one of the character's shoes, will you do anything differently? I would highly recommend this book to those who don't mind controversial and heartbreaking stories.
P/S: Mom, don't read this book, you can't take it. I've told you the story already anyway. Cheers!
