Yes, it is the horror movie starring Emily Browning. You can read the full synopsis here.
At first I said NO because I really hate horror movies. I love watching gory, bloody and violent thrillers, but definitely not movies that's got to do with ghost. As I hung up the phone, a gush of guilt rushed over me and with my mom's and dan's constatn encouragement for me to go and hang out with my cousins. I soon found myself dialing my cousin's number, saying 'I'll go for it'. We met up at TGV Sunway Pyramid for the 9.30pm show.
My wacky cousins - Sha Sha, Syikin, Dik Nor and Nadia.
The movie was OK, not the scariest of all the horror movies, just a few spooks here and there. The way the movie was plotted reminded me of one of my use-to-be favourite Horror Movies (those were the days when I was brave) - A Tale of the Two Sisters.
The highlight of this movie was Arielle Kebbel, she starred as Alex (Anna/Emily Browning's sister). She spent most of her on screen time in a bikini and babydoll dresses. So so hot, leaving us so so envious.
What really freaked me out was my cousins! They were scarier than the movie! They tried to frighten me and they succeded a few times. We spent most of the time giggling at each other or during the after-spooks. After the movie, we went to McDonald's for supper. We talked and laughed a lot. Nothing beats spending the evening with my beloved wacky cousins. Here are some of the pictures of us doing what we do best - cam whoring.
Can't wait till we do this again, next time I get to choose the movie!
A special thanks to Dan for not holding a grudge for me because I always abondaned him and go seek my own agenda.
